2014

I’ve been where you are.

Unworthy. Unseen. Lost.
I know those words because I’ve lived them.

My story began in a place of deep rejection. I was born into abandonment, my birth certificate reading “Father – Unknown.” That label followed me through years of pain—abuse, addiction, depression, financial ruin, and shame. I reached rock bottom… but God wasn’t done with me.

In 2013, everything changed.
I surrendered. I said yes to Jesus.
And He began to rewrite every chapter of my life

A Life Redeemed by Grace

From the Pit to Purpose
My darkest valleys became the soil where purpose grew. God took my mess and turned it into ministry. I healed from post-abortion trauma. I walked through divorce and found peace. I went from feeding my own addictions to feeding the homeless. Every scar became a story. Every wound—an opportunity for God’s grace to shine.

In 2014, GraceIsTheKey was born—a movement built on the belief that no one is too far gone. We serve, speak, and show up for those this world often overlooks. Because I believe in second chances, radical love, and lives transformed by Christ.

The Mission

Today, I lead St. John’s Place of Grace—a community sanctuary in Modesto, California, where the broken find belonging. Whether you’re grieving, recovering, rebuilding, or just searching for peace… you are welcome here. This is where healing begins. This is where grace takes root.

Through speaking, ministry, and community outreach, I share my story to remind others:
